Kick Off Fundraising Dinner...

At 7:30pm the guests began to arrive at the venue. The tables were delicately decorated with silverware, drinking glasses, coffee cups and center pieces of red, white and blue balloons. By 8:00pm the chatter was heightened as people began to mingle and laugh...the smooth jazz playing in the background, as the well dressed waiters stood by their tables readily alert. And the fun began, the first, second and third courses were served to over 70 supporters, and it was time to hear Dr. Cabrera's speech. Mr. Greg Faulkner introduced Dr. Cabrera and he was greeted by a standing ovation, cheers, claps and whistles resounded in the entire facility as he took the podium under his banner with bright balloons in the background, he thanked everyone and gave and inspiring heart felt speech. As he closed off the speech, all the guests were then served their fourth course with coffee or tea.
The dinner was done in excellence. It was magnificent...and I dare say magical. The supporters were excited. It was indeed an impressive night!

On behalf of Dr. Cabrera and his entire family, he thanks everyone who helped make this night possible.
"I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to all you who made last night campaign dinner a total success. I was truly proud of you all who made this event possible by how you took hold of this event and made it happened. I saw some of you give your utter dedication and effort in making sure that this event would take place in a level of excellence."
~Dr. Cabrera

I REALLY had a great time at this event. I was actually one of the volunteers. It was great to see all the other volunteers; some Black, some Hispanic, but all unified to serve a man who wants to serve the people of the Bronx. I would donate my time all the time and anytime.

District 14, a change is coming...

I was impressed by the excellent work. You can truly feel the love and respect everyone has for Fernando Cabrera. The young adults who volunteered to greet and serve was top of the line. Some asked "where did you find such nice mannered young people?" It's our young adults from our community who are excited and giving it all to support Dr. Cabrera. The evening was exciting, not one boring moment. The guests were well pleased and left with such an excitement and are supporting Dr. Cabrera 100%. It felt like a wedding when it all goes perfect time flies...and before you know it the evening has ended. Looking forward to the next fundraising event! I will be there! FOOD WAS GREAT -

I was super impressed. There was "new beginning" buzz in the air. You can just feel a sense of community and solidarity in the air. I think Cabrera is going to be the change this community needs! Watch out Baez, cuz there's definitely something about this guy that smells like success.
